How to Create Global Event and Make It a Calling Card?

On the 6th March ( Monday) at 1:30 PM SWISSAM Business School will hold a guest lecture with famous producer and hotelier Igor Gavriushkin.

During this lecture you will be able to learn about event tourism, specially how to organize the Carnival, how to attract and retain tourists to the hotel and also ask other questions.

Igor’s first significant project was International Tsarskoselskiy carnival in Pushkin, that was supported by government and held from 1996 till 2010.

After that he managed to organize even more ambitious project – International St.Petersburg city festival on Nevsky prospect devoted to the City Day. This festival took place every year from 2001 to 2008 and attracted over 500 000 spectators and 20 000 participants.

In 2006 Igor Gavriushkin and Thomas Noll (at that time -GM of Grand Hotel Europe) organized first and then next four Christmas fairs in St.Petersburg which became well-known all over the world. He also prepared the celebrations of St.Petersburg tercentenary and many other outstanding and significant projects.

Now Igor is the President of Russian section in Federation of European Carnival Cities. Currently he is in charge of multi-million infotainment project in Pskovskaya area and owns a small cozy hotel in Pushkinskiye gory.
