On October 18th at SWISSAM Hospitality Business & Culinary arts School, a lecture was held for students on the topics "Modern trends in the restaurant industry in Russia, regional specifics, successful concepts in St. Petersburg, famous restaurateurs in Russia and leading restaurants groups".
The guest lecturer was Marina Mironova, travel journalist, publicist and author of gastronomic guides. Having visited more than 60 countries, Marina can claim the title of "professional traveller" and is also a member of the International Association of Journalists IFJ and Member of the St. Petersburg Union of Journalists. She wrote a great number of articles about different countries for magazines: National Geographic Traveler, GEO, big city, Poster, logbooks of airlines Aeroflot and Russian Air. Marina Mironova is an expert in gastronomic tourism, author and lecturer on food-journalism at Travelogia school.
Marina Mironova told the students about the micro-trends in the restaurant industry, the stages of opening a restaurant from A to Z. The lecture was very interesting, and then gradually turned into a debate, in the format: question - answer. Finally, Marina shared with everyone many links to useful information resources.
