Chef and manager of "Apteka" restaurant Jimmy Singh teaches the students of ICE Culinary Arts. Chef Education program to cook Indian dishes.
The chef shared a lot of secrets and subtleties of cooking savory and spicy dishes. Nowhere in the world different spices are used that much like in Indian cuisine. A pinch of cardamom, cloves, spoon of mustard seeds, curry leaves, a couple of seeds of fenugreek and fennel, turmeric to get bright colorful dishes. Each dish is like the result of the labor of skilled alchemist. To breathe in the scent in a new dish, you need to be a little magician.
During classes the students with the help of the chef cooked dishes of traditional Indian cuisine: palak paneer - spinach with Indian battered cheese, potato croquettes with chickpeas, chicken tikka - chicken with spices cooked in tandoor, paste of cashew nuts and vegetables, jeera rice - rice cooked with cumin, butter chicken - one of the most popular and traditional dishes of North India .
SWISSAM Business School thanks Jimmy Singh for sharing knowledge and skills with our students and hope to have a further cooperation!
