On the 15th of August, Mr. Sylvain Boussard will assume the position of Head of Hospitality Studies in SWISSAM Hospitality Business & Culinary Arts School, in the Saint Petersburg campus.
Mr. Boussard has held the position of Program Manager, Restaurant Management program in Le Cordon Bleu Paris, where he has been responsible for developing the program from the very beginning, to now be known as one of the leading Restaurant Management programs in Europe. Prior to his work at Le Cordon Bleu, Mr Sylvain Boussard has been holding senior positions in the hospitality industry in: Brunei, The Maldives, Panama, USA, Antigua, Peru, French Polynesia, Bahrain, Mexico and South Africa.
Mr. Boussard holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Hotel and Restaurant Management from the world’s oldest and most prestigious Hotel school, the Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne, Switzerland. In addition, he has studied at US based Cornell University, completing the General Manager’s Program. Cornell’s School of Hotel Administration is ranked as one of the best hospitality universities in the world.
With the involvement of Mr. Boussard as Head of Hospitality Studies, SWISSAM is again confirming its position as the premiere Hospitality and Culinary Arts School in Russia and CIS, and is taking another giant step towards becoming one of the best Hospitality schools in Europe.
In addition to developing and overseeing SWISSAM Business school’s academic programs, Mr. Boussard will be actively teaching the students of IMI International Hospitality Management. Undergraduate studies program as well as IMI International Restaurant Management. Postgraduate studies program. He will also hold regular open seminars in SWISSAM Saint Petersburg campus for the benefit of the industry, as well as guest lecturer in the newly started SWISSAM Hospitality Business & Culinary Arts School in Moscow.
